Hole In The Wall 17 Feb 25

Hole In The Wall  Asian Cajun Kitchen

2305 Calder Ave.  Beaumont, Texas 77702

Why I Chose This Spot:

Driving through town on the ambulance, my partner and I decided to stop for supper.  According to the iPhone, this eatery was highly rated, so we went.

First Impressions:

As this establishment is situated on the corner, it didn't stand out.  This eatery is similar to a taco stand.  You order at a window, and sit outside (or in your car, or take it away).

The Menu:

The large (quantity) menu contained standard Chinese food dishes.  It also has Mixed Fried Seafood, Grilled Platters, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, and Chow Fun.

What I ordered:

My partner ordered a dish that contained 9 fried oysters, which came with fried rice(which he got), or fries.  I ordered their large Combo Fried Rice (which I requested extremely spicy).  It seemed like two pounds of rice.

The Food:

Everything that we ordered was fantastic, and prepared correctly.  Both of us liked our meal a lot.

Value for Money:
The prices ranged from $8 to $18,  Overall, I feel that this price range is good, and the portions were ample for a Fat Paramedic.

Would I Return?

Absolutely.  All of the food tasted great and the price/portion was more than fair.
