  Hole In The Wall  Asian Cajun Kitchen 2305 Calder Ave.  Beaumont, Texas 77702 Why I Chose This Spot: Driving through town on the ambulance, my partner and I decided to stop for supper.  According to the iPhone, this eatery was highly rated, so we went.   First Impressions: As this establishment is situated on the corner, it didn't stand out.  This eatery is similar to a taco stand.  You order at a window, and sit outside (or in your car, or take it away).   The Menu: The large (quantity) menu contained standard Chinese food dishes.  It also has Mixed Fried Seafood, Grilled Platters, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, and Chow Fun.   What I ordered: My partner ordered a dish that contained 9 fried oysters, which came with fried rice(which he got), or fries.  I ordered their large Combo Fried Rice (which I requested extremely spicy).  It seemed like two pounds of rice.   El Rolis Ostioneria 3715 SH-6 N, Ste. 200  Houston 77082 Why I Chose This Spot: Back in 2013 or so, I came up with a New Year's resolution.  Once a month, I'm going to try an eatery that I've never tried before.  Some of these eateries I have found simply be driving by.  Some of them have been on a TV show, like on The Food Network, or The Travel Channel.  We're down to a core group of two couples (there have been many months with more than a dozen in our group).   First Impressions: As this establishment is situated in the middle of a strip center, it didn't stand out.    If you aren't a fan of Hole-in-the-wall eateries, you may not think to go inside.  Upon entering, the dining are was very clean, with multiple booths and tables, at which to sit.  There was an abundance of parking available.  The restaurant was spacious and the decor was definitely nautical.   The Service: The waitstaff was all ...
